Don't Waste Your precious time during this lockdown....

Nowadays people are wasting their precious time on social media. People don't understand that such time will not come again. This is the time to do something, to learn something. I used to waste a lot of my time like other people, but now I understand that time is very precious… This life is found once and we have to do something. So I started writing a blog. This is also not an easy task, friends, you have to do a lot of research and then write.

There are so many things to do during this lockdown. This time has given us opportunity to follow our passion or do things we always wanted to or didnt get time earlier due to our hectic life. We can learn a new hobby, or improve ourselves - like learning new skills, looking at our food habbits and eating healthy food, we should also keep ourselves fit as many are working from home by just sitting on the chair with no activity. Atleast when we were in office, we used to walk, go to other departments for any work or to talk to a colleague or a friend. So atleast we can start by walking or doing simple exercises and increasing count slowly slowly.. We should develop habbit of reading which will help us to gain knowledge so that our reading, writing, speaking skills will improve and we would be able to communicate more effectively.

I would suggest people shouldnt waste time much in watching series or using too much of social media. As these things are not going to help us in future. I am not telling you stop all of this but learn to prioritize things and you spend time on these during your break time. Once the lockdown is lifted company or HR will expect how have you utilised this time and what skills have you learnt and as it is said Only the fittest will survive in this highly competitive environment.

We must keep a track of our activities, learnings which will help us to be productive. We can do this by writing it in a notebook, or mobile, etc.. We can also take one step further by setting up a personal blog and share our daily experiences and turn them into weekly or monthly posts for others to read.

We can also enroll free courses which will help us build knowledge which will help us to be updated with the current knowledge and because of this lockdown there are many courses which have become free which otherwise costed thousands of rupees. We are fortunate enough we have the resources to build our knowledge which many people don't. There are many things to learn from these online learning platforms or even from Youtube. We can learn from various topics like Digital Marketing, Stock Market, Photoshop, etc to name a few... Even though if we do not get job we can take up freelancing work and also note Knowledge is never wasted..

I also want to say we must thinking of working out regularly by setting up a workout routine. You dont need a gym or major equipments to keep yourself fit. There is lot of free content available on web from where we can get to learn basic exercises and also people are sharing receipes or videos what things to eat during this lockdown period. Because of this lockdown many people have gone into depression or are feeling too stressed. We must just find a quiet place and meditate with some soft music. Meditation is the best things we can do now to relieve stress and improve our well being.

As we can't go out to meet our friends and relatives, we need to remain connected with them through phone and video calls. Also we can get in touch with past colleagues who might have grown in their careers and might refer us also which can help us in getting a good job..

As many of us are working from home, its best that we get the required amount of sleep we couldn't get before, late sittings in office and then travelling take a toll on our health. During this period, make sure to sleep enough. Keep your screen time low and leave your laptop or mobile 45 mins to an hour before sleep... Instead you can read a book or meditate or plan for the next day and also think what have you done during the day and what things you can improve upon...

Most importantly, be sure to write down a routine of the activities which we will be doing for the first time and stick to it and don't give up. It is also said it takes 21 days to form a habbit.

Don't stop there -

We can sign up to relevant webinars and access ebooks, videos and other informative content. That's it from my side folks... Stay Safe and hope you get inspiration from my post and be a changed indiviual after the lockdown :)

I just want to tell you guys that don't waste this precious time, instead read books, learn some skills so that you can earn more.
